Has your power gone out again and left you scrambling for flashlights? Are you tired of worrying about your food spoiling or your sump pump quitting every time a storm rolls through? Do you work from home and need the lights to stay on no matter what?
Those are the kinds of questions we hear every week at Bacon Plumbing Heating Air Electric. We are a family-owned company serving the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and Houston, and you can reach a real person at (972) 645-2738. Our electricians handle Generator Installation & Repair in Dallas-Fort Worth & Houston so your home or business keeps running when the grid does not.
Texas weather does not ask permission before it knocks out the power. And when it does, a properly installed standby generator is the difference between a minor inconvenience and a long, dark night. That is where we come in. Brad Bacon started this company back in 2011 in Rockwall, and we have been keeping Texas families comfortable and safe ever since.
What Our Generator Service Covers
A generator is only as good as the people who install and maintain it. The reality is that a backup power system ties into your electrical panel, your fuel supply, and sometimes your gas line, so it needs to be done right the first time. Here is what our team handles for homeowners and businesses across the metros:
- New generator installation sized to your home and your power needs
- Transfer switch wiring and electrical panel integration
- Generator repair when your unit will not start or will not hold a load
- Routine maintenance and seasonal checkups to keep it ready
- Troubleshooting for units that trip, surge, or shut down early
- Guidance on fuel type and placement before installation begins
Our electricians are licensed and insured, and that matters when you are connecting a power source to your home. We hold License #34173 along with our other state licenses, and every job meets code. The catch is that not every company treats a generator like the electrical project it really is. We do.
Why a Standby Generator Makes Sense in Texas
Storms, heat waves, and strained grids are all part of life in North and Southeast Texas. A standby generator kicks on automatically when the power drops, so you are not left fumbling in the dark or hauling a portable unit out of the garage in the rain.
For many homeowners, the real value is peace of mind. Your refrigerator stays cold. Your heating and cooling keeps working. Your medical equipment stays powered. And if you run a business, you avoid the lost revenue and spoiled inventory that come with an outage.
Even better, a whole-home generator adds resale appeal and takes one more worry off your plate. We help you choose the right size so you are not paying for more than you need or coming up short when it counts.
More Than Just Another Service Call
There are plenty of outfits that will quote you a generator over the phone and disappear after the install. That is not how we work. We built our reputation across Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston on showing up, doing the work right, and standing behind it.
Our technicians are GPS-tracked, so dispatch always knows who is closest to you and when they will arrive. We offer same-day appointments, including weekends, and we serve customers in both English and Spanish. We also back our work with a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee, because we want you to feel confident long after we leave.
With offices in Rockwall, Fort Worth, Plano, and Spring, we are close to the communities we serve across both metros. So whether you are in the suburbs north of Dallas or down near Houston, help is not far away. Call (972) 645-2738 and we will get you on the schedule.
Honest Pricing and No Surprises
Nobody likes surprise fees, and we do not spring them on you. There is no service call fee during normal business hours, which are Monday through Saturday from 8am to 5pm. After-hours emergency calls do include a dispatch fee, and we tell you that up front so there is no confusion when a technician arrives.
We are also available around the clock. Our 24/7 emergency service means that if your generator fails during the next big storm, you are not waiting until Monday for help. Generator Installation & Repair in Dallas-Fort Worth & Houston is one of several services we offer, and we bring the same standards to every one.
Membership and Warranty Options
Want to keep your generator and the rest of your home in good shape year-round? Our Friends & Family Plan starts at $15.95 a month and includes 15 percent off services, annual inspections, a waived service fee, and seasonal HVAC tune-ups. It is an easy way to stay ahead of problems instead of reacting to them.
We also stand behind our electrical work with strong warranty coverage. Our electrical panels carry a lifetime warranty, and no membership is required for that. The good news is that when you invest in a backup power system with us, you are investing with a company that plans to be here for the long haul.
